Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled salesforce QA Automation Engineer to join our Salesforce team preferably with Provar automation tool experience. This role requires a hands-on professional with a strong background in test automation, a deep understanding of Salesforce platforms, and a passion for enhancing software quality. You will be responsible for developing robust automation frameworks, automating and executing automated test scripts, and ensuring the highest level of quality for our Salesforce applications.

What You'll Do:

•Develop and maintain test automation frameworks using Selenium WebDriver with Java, tailored specifically for Salesforce applications.

• Create, execute, and manage automated test scripts to validate the functionality and reliability of Salesforce Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and other integrated systems.

• Collaborate closely with developers, business analysts, and product managers to understand requirements, identify testing needs, and develop comprehensive test strategies.

• Implement and execute test plans for functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing, utilizing both automated and manual testing approaches when needed.

• Integrate automated test suites with CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI) to enable continuous testing and rapid feedback.

• Troubleshoot automation failures by analyzing logs, debugging scripts, and working with development teams to resolve defects quickly.

• Stay updated with the latest Salesforce releases and AppExchange solutions, ensuring test automation adapts to new features and enhancements.

• Document test results, track defects, and provide clear and concise feedback to development teams using tools like Jira.

What You'll Bring:

• 3-5 years of experience in QA automation, with a strong focus on Salesforce testing.

• Expertise in Selenium WebDriver, Java, and TestNG/JUnit for developing and executing automated tests.

• Experience in maintaining automation frameworks

• Strong knowledge of API testing tools (Postman, RestAssured) and scripting for automated API tests.

• Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or similar for integrating automated tests into the build pipeline.

• Familiarity with Salesforce Lightning, SOQL/SOSL queries, and the Salesforce testing ecosystem.

• Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies and experience working in Agile teams.

• Problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze and debug automation issues effectively.

• Strong communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across teams and present testing outcomes clearly.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience in integrating test management tools (e.g., Zephyr, Xray) with Jira for efficient test planning and execution tracking.

  • Hands on experience working with Provar automation tool is a plus

• Basic programming knowledge of other languages (e.g., Python, C#) is an advantage.

• Experience with performance and security testing of Salesforce applications is a plus.

• Knowledge of DevOps practices and how they integrate with QA processes.
