Responsibilities
As Product Owner you will be part of the Transformation Group EU reporting to the Area Lead Data Management. The Transformation Group EU is responsible for the transformation related to process, product and systems in the region Europe and will work closely with the markets to achieve goals:
- Deliver new strategic capabilities aligned with strategic priorities
- Improve and standardize processes, products, data and technology
- Ensure Business Continuity
- Lifecycle Management, Information Security, regulatory compliance
The Data Hub squad is responsible for the design, development and maintenance of the European data hub. The overall objective is to enable the availability of fit-for-purpose data, both internal and external, that is trusted, secure, of the right quality and quantity and easy to find and use.
As the Product Owner of our Data Hub squad, you will play a pivotal role in driving the development and implementation of innovative solutions that align with our strategic goals and business objectives. You will be responsible for managing the product backlog, prioritizing tasks, and ensuring the successful delivery and adoption of our solutions in the market. Additionally, the product owner will need to map out dependencies to inform the necessary sequence of development

- Product Strategy & Roadmap: Develop and communicate a vision for the Data Platform transformation, setting a strategic roadmap to deliver an adaptable, scalable platform that aligns with enterprise, group and area strategy and objectives
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Engage with leadership, architecture teams, and end-users to gather requirements, create user stories, and refine priorities. Promote a culture of transparency and collaboration within the region.
- Technical Oversight: Work closely with engineering teams to ensure Platform meets requirements for data quality, regulatory compliance (BCBS239), and adaptability across regional and global contexts.
- Data Governance: Design processes to govern data ingestion, transformation, and consumption. Oversee the incorporation of role-based access, compliance with data standards, and data quality monitoring.
Continuous Improvement: Drive agile methodologies and implement structured testing for reliability, including unit testing within data pipelines, to ensure continuous improvement in platform performance.

Day To Day
- User Stories: Optimal translation of partner and customer needs and demands into complete and clear user stories leading to optimal performance of the Agile squad.
- Backlog: Create, manage, update and prioritize the backlog to align with strategic goals and business objectives (based upon the agreed OKR/KPIs.
- Definition of Done:
- Clearly state the goal of each (sub)product to the team and the value it brings.
- Clearly formulate the related acceptance, make sure they are accepted by the team by the start of each sprint.
- Resource Management: Ensure sufficient team capacity, seniority and size, keeping in mind the work to be done.
- Stakeholder Management:
- Collaborate with Group & Area Leads, other product owners in- and outside the Group and making sure business stakeholders are always informed about the backlog and planning of the team
- Facilitate communication and ensure that all stakeholders are aligned on dependencies, priorities and commitments ensuring customer expectations are met.
- Present initiative to markets, other departments and management to create awareness
- Context Awareness: The release of the product reflects the definition of the requirements. The products delivered do not lead to security breaches and are in line with DLL’s architectural standards.
- Business Adoption:
- Ensure the successful adoption of delivered solutions in the markets and that expected business value is realized
- Gather feedback from users and stakeholders to inform future improvements and iterations.
- Create and follow long term vision on how to embed process mining in the European markets aligned with global plans

Essentials
- Ability to translate the Area epics into complete and clear user stories (features and PBIs)
- Customer-centric, process-oriented, data-driven, and agile mindset.
- Change management skills and acquainted with Scrum/agile/safe way of working.
- Delivering results that matter to our customers and business.
- Prior process improvement, product development and/or management experience.
- Ability to manage a large group of diverse stakeholders.
- Experience in working with both business and IT
- Certified PO/PM SAFe (and preferably Lean);
- Knowledgeable of Microsoft Azure DevOps or similar
- Knowledgeable of process mining
- Flexible and pragmatic mindset
- Excellent communication skills in English
Extras
- Knowledgeable of financial industry and especially of vendor finance business model
- Experience working in an international environment.
- Experience working within a Scaled Agile Framework and with or knowledge of the Simplify@Scale framework (a.k.a. the Spotify model).
- Relevant experience with Process Mining
