About the project

We have an exciting opportunity for an IT passionate with experience in Linux operating systems. You will be part of an existing team managing the Linux infrastructure on different servers of one of the biggest automotive manufacturers of luxury vehicles from Germany.

Your Tasks

  • Operate, maintain and administer servers, contribute to the operational efficiency, availability and visibility of the current infrastructur
  • Independent development of solutions based on specified requirements and architecture
  • Plan and execute maintenance activity
  • Contribute with your experience to improve and maintain documentation about client systems and infrastructure, procedures, policies, and schedules
  • Observe and provide feedback on the current state of the client’s infrastructure, and identify opportunities to improve resiliency, reduce the occurrence of incidents and automate repetitive administrative and operational tasks
  • Collaborate with the colleagues, with other service providers but also with the end client internal departments
  • Keeping up to date with advancements and best practices

Qualifications

  • At least 1- 3 years RedHat Enterprise Linux System Administration
  • Experience in Administration and Use od RedHat Satellite Server and Ansible
  • Experience in solving unexpected issues and no fear of new topics
  • Some experience in coordination of small projects
  • Nice to have would be also experience with Monitoring Tools (ex. Nagios,Zabbix, Cacti)
  • Creation and maintenance of documentation
  • Ideal ITIL Foundation Certificate
  • Good communication skills, experience with client direct communication or users is a plus

  • Mandatory - German B2+
