Enterprise Account Manager – SLED/Public Sector

InterVision Company is seeking an Enterprise Account Manager – SLED/Public Sector to sell technical solutions based on customer business and technical requirements that would include cloud/hosted, on premise, managed services and professional service engagements. Specific product knowledge with AWS, Cisco, Juniper, Palo Alto Networks, NetApp and competing manufacturers is required. Additionally, an understanding of cloud migration services, voice-video-collaboration solutions, and security is desirable. The territory and market is Local Government and Education in Northern California and the Pacific Northwest. This sales role is primarily a hunter position focused on obtaining new logos. In California, the primary area of focus will be to lead with InterVision's CalNet contract, positioning InterVision's ConnectIV CX workforce transformation/contact center offerings with eligible entities (any California-based organization that receives public funding).

We Welcome Your Experience And Talents To Our Team

  • 3-5 years of sales experience, preferably in the high technology or related industry
  • Knowledge of the Government acquisition processes desirable (RFI, RFO, RFP)
  • Experience selling professional IT consulting services and managed or cloud technology services or experience in a similar industry
  • Must be skilled at the identification and pursuit of new business opportunities within the State, Local Government, and Education market through creative lead generation, personal sales visits, and sales presentations
  • Ability to constructively and persuasively present technology solutions and close business with executives and decision-makers
  • Excellent written and oral presentation skills
  • Customer-focused with a sense of urgency and the ability to multi-task, problem-solve, and manage client relationships in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent interpersonal skills including strong motivation, focus, and passion for selling services of value to State and Local Government clients
  • Computer literate with a high level of proficiency in all Microsoft applications
  • Experience with managing longer sales cycle opportunities
  • Ability to become a trusted advisor to customers
  • Bachelor’s Degree is preferred

  • Maintain expertise on the company’s products, services, and solutions to effectively position technology options and close profitable sales to Public Sector Clients.
  • Utilize professional networking to build relationships with executive and decision-making managers at targeted customers
  • Perform effective account planning with an extended team calling at all levels within the client's organization and managing partner relationships
  • Apply consultative sales approach to grow the client base and drive higher revenue client growth and client retention
