Job Description

This role is for someone already operating at National Account Manager level who is hungry for their next opportunity. We are looking for people with strong High Street Discounter background and or retail experience.

The primary objective of this position is to effectively expand the customer base within the channel while ensuring profitability. As the National Account Manager, you will oversee a diverse portfolio of brands and products.

Key responsibilities include proficient project management, along with managing P&L and budgetary responsibilities. Emphasis will be placed on enhancing the distribution and activation of our brands in terms of both quality and quantity. You'll collaborate closely with internal teams (Marketing, NPD, ROB, Planning & Category) to devise and implement strategies for packaging formats and product ranges aimed at accelerating growth.

This role presents an exceptional opportunity for a skilled negotiator to drive sustainable growth while delivering exceptional customer service.

While this position is home-based, it requires regular UK-wide travel to see customers and also weekly visits to our main sites for team meetings.

Qualifications
  • Ideally degree educated or evidence of strong academics
  • High Street Discounter background and or retail experience.
  • 3+ years' experience within the Grocery channel 
  • Experience working within an FMCG environment
  • P&L Management
  • Ability to negotiate & agree terms and secure incremental activity
  • Excellent forecasting skills
  • Prepared to travel UK wide for customer and Head Office meetings
