Account Manager (Product) CorEvitas Specialty EMR Data

We are looking for a highly motivated, confident, and naturally inquisitive Account Manager for our Vantage platform. Ideally you will have a track record of managing and growing accounts into Pharma/Medical Devices/MedTech companies. Working collaboratively with the Product and wider Sales team, the Account Manager will utilise established account management techniques to cultivate customer relationships, encourage commitment to their subscription product and maintain and grow existing business.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Develop and execute negotiation strategies for renewals that improve contract value while protecting and improving customer trust.
  • Own, drive and run the renewals process in collaboration with support from the Head of Account Management.
  • Play an active role in securing upgrade opportunities (additional users, modules, sites)
  • Manage appropriate commercial and contractual agreements
  • Ensure that all Vantage clients are provided with core training in accordance with contractual agreements. Support with the design, development, and implementation of a Vantage training programme to enhance the skills of clients using the platform.
  • Provide regular updates to clients on the progress of Vantage and its development roadmap
  • Develop open and effective channels of communication with each client
  • Become the reliable point of contact for each customer that is required to establish a strong business relationship
  • Listen to and understand client needs, addessing client concerns and dealing with objections
  • Provide market feedback to the Product Team regarding competitive offerings and client needs, providing insight and input to pricing and product development.
  • Continually develop own knowledge and skills in line with Vantage product and service lines, as well as maintaining knowledgeable understanding of developments affecting the healthcare and/or pharmaceutical industry.
  • Complete all daily, weekly, monthly administration in a timely manner as required
  • Maintain excellent verbal and formal communication skills, critical reasoning skills and the ability to sell & negotiate effectively. Be customer-orientated.
  • Work within the ABPI guidelines at all times

  • Willing to travel throughout the UK and internationally
  • Willing to travel to the Hammersmith office once a month

Additional Experience And Qualifications

  • Degree or equivalent, ideally in Life Sciences or similar
  • Minimum of 5 years of B2B experience in client relationship management, renewals, retention, or account management
  • Experience in developing credibility with customers and demonstrable track record of building strong strategic and trusted relationships with client stakeholders through professionalism and knowledge of services and products.
  • Experience in managing clients for SaaS products
  • Experience or interest in the healthcare and/or pharmaceutical sector
  • Track record in delivering product support or training to clients is desirable
  • ABPI Code of Practice knowledge and exam (ideal but not essential)
