Quality Assurance Automation Engineer

Currently, we are seeking an exceptional QA Automation who thrives on complex challenges, and is ready to seize this fantastic opportunity.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and execute automated test scripts using Postman and JMeter to ensure comprehensive test coverage;
• Perform performance and load testing to validate application scalability and reliability;
• Collaborate with development, QA, and operations teams to integrate testing within CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps;
• Analyse test results and provide detailed reports, including bug tracking and resolution progress;
• Create and maintain test data, test environments, and test frameworks to ensure testing efficiency;
• Advocate for and implement best practices in automation testing within the team;
• Contribute to test planning, ensuring alignment with project goals and timelines;
• Monitor and improve testing processes to optimize quality assurance efforts.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Management, Engineering, or Computer Science;
• 5+ years in QA Automation roles with hands-on experience in test automation and performance testing;
• Proficiency with JMeter for performance and load testing;
• Strong knowledge of API testing using Postman, including automated API testing;
• Experience with Azure DevOps, including CI/CD pipelines and test integration;
• Solid understanding of QA methodologies, tools, and processes;
• Experience with test frameworks and tools relevant to automation testing;
• Understanding Agile methodologies;
• Effective communication and collaboration skills;
• Fluent level of English;
• Living in Portugal.
