Your mission

As a Lead Test Automation Engineer, you will play a key role in ensuring our platform's quality, reliability, and scalability, supporting our goal to provide world-class service in the rapidly evolving crypto industry.
In this role, you will:
  • Improve test management, execution, and reporting tools to streamline workflows.
  • Develop a clear understanding of the ROI of automated testing and implement strategies to support it.
  • Create and execute automated test scripts using Postman, Playwright and other tools.
  • Share QA status updates with tech teams during daily stand-ups and ensure seamless integration of test reports with release requirements.
  • Organise all phases of the software testing process, from planning to execution and reporting.
  • Write and maintain comprehensive documentation, including test plans, procedures, and cases.
  • Advocate for and implement test automation as a cornerstone of a sustainable QA system in a dynamic, growing environment.
  • Actively engage in API testing to ensure high performance and reliability.
  • Conduct performance tests using K6 to identify and resolve bottlenecks.
What you need to be successful:
  • Proficient in designing RestAssured automated test frameworks.
  • Strong understanding of UI automation principles and the ability to design frameworks for UI-based applications using Selenium (Java) and Playwright (JavaScript).
  • Skilled in writing utilities and connectors to support UI automation efforts.
  • Experience with Appium and other mobile automation frameworks.
  • A problem-solving mindset with the ability to balance attention to detail and execution speed.
  • Hands-on experience with K6 or similar tools to assess system performance.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
  • A genuine interest in the blockchain and cryptocurrency space is a plus.
