- Problem-Solving: Willingness to help solve user problems with patience and guidance.
Personality:
- Disciplined: You live by the adage, âbe the change you want to see in the world (community)â even if itâs not visible to others, and you do things because theyâre whatâs right, not because itâs whatâs easy.
- Helpful & Inspirational: You understand the importance of guiding rather than giving answers. Others feel empowered, not overpowered after chatting with you.
- Empathetic: Thereâs no need to explain the difference between âhearingâ and âlisteningâ to you, not only do you understand the difference, you also know when each is appropriate.
- Adaptable & Adventurous: The âUnknownâ sends you a holiday card every year, because youâre not shy about jumping in to try something youâve never done before.
- Respectful & Accountable: You stand by your choices no matter the outcome and respect is more than just a word.
Nice to Have:
- Open Source Software (OSS) Development: Experience with developing or contributing to an OSS project is something that matters to us, please share any projects youâve contributed to or developed.
- Creating Bots or Community Tools: If youâve built a bot, utility, or plugin specifically aimed to enhance the experience of an online community, weâd love to see it!
- Bonus if you have any ideas to implement for any of the existing Ultralytics communities.
- Expertise in Neural Networks: If you know the ins and outs of MLPs, GANs, RBFNs, VAEs, GNNs, RNNs, CNNs, LSTMs, LLMs, ViTs, SLAM, etc. youâll be in good company at Ultralytics.
- Stack Exposure: Maybe youâre not an expert in everything, but if youâve had some experience with any of the technologies mentioned that's okay, just let us know where you feel you are on them. If you are an expert in any of them, let us know and be ready to show off your skills.
- Compute/Hardware Knowledge: Could you build a PC blindfolded? Have you memorized the pinout for the GPIO on a Raspberry Pi? Do you know the memory layout for data on NVIDIA GPUs? We want to know!
If you're passionate about computer vision and building thriving developer communities, we encourage you to apply. Join our team and help shape the future of computer vision!
