The Fuel Logistics Specialist's role is customer service combined with sales and operational/ sales support for our global customer database. A Fuel Logistics Specialist has to have a can-do approach to our customers, who can be calling in from all types of companies and all around the world.

The Fuel Logistics Specialist needs to understand different cultures and have an empathy for the differing needs of the different types of aircraft operators. A regular workday will include responding to emails, keeping up to speed with fuel shortages in different regions, and liaising with Sales, Credit, Collections, Supply, Billing and other departments.

The Fuel Logistics Specialist needs to feel confident to make calls to prospective customers and to build/develop those relationships, and will also be responsible for directly managing some small accounts in order to grow volume and profitability.

Requirements

  • Excellent English communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Minimum 1-2 years work experience in customer service environment preferred
  • Sales experience is a plus
  • A strong team player with excellent interpersonal skills and ability to build relationships
  • Schedule flexibility to work weekends and holidays
  • Effective and professional telephone manner, commercial awareness
  • Ability to antipate issues, work well under pressure and to prioritise effectively
  • Capability to deal with the unexpected, show initiative and work with low supervision
  • Current passport holder
