Job description

The Role

The position oversees the various logistics transactions and movements of the ASP Business within the EMEA region. By analyzing logistics data, it will help the business to improve and maintain their logistics network in terms of costs and efficiency.

Responsibilities

  • Close interaction with 3PL, Customer Service, Supply Planning Team, Trade Compliance Team on daily business
  • Coordinate and monitor the daily shipment activities (Inbound/Outbound) with 3PL
  • Shipment Issue coordination and resolution
  • Build/maintain databases of Logistics Shipment Information
  • Monitor inventory transactions at warehouse facilities to assess receiving, storage, shipping, or inventory integrity
  • Responsible for accurate inventory data and discrepancy resolution
  • Remotely monitor the flow of inventory, using Web-based logistics information systems to track containers
  • Handle customer complaints and return shipments
  • Opening and handling non-conformance documentation
  • Support on handling insurance claims
  • Confer with logistics management teams to determine ways to optimize service levels, maintain supply-chain efficiency, or minimize cost
  • Responsible for communicating business related issues or opportunities to next management level
  • Recommend improvements to existing or planned logistics processes
  • Monitor SAP and EDI Transactions and resolve any issues which may occur
  • Support Month/Quarter-End activities
  • Performs other duties assigned as needed

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma is required, AS or BS degree highly preferred
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as an administrator, preferably focusing on Logistics
  • Proficient in ERP System (SAP) / EDI Setup knowledge is a plus
  • Fluency in English required (any other language is an asset)
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Programs (Excel, etc.)
  • Acute attention to detail
  • Self-Starter
