DESCRIPTION:
The Digital Marketing Specialist plays a critical role on the marketing team in measuring activity ROI, enabling sales, and promoting consistent brand messaging. By managing and optimizing account-based marketing strategies, digital campaigns, and lead nurturing workflows, this role ensures targeted engagement that aligns with both sales and marketing goals. Expertise in tracking performance metrics, analyzing data, and optimizing campaigns drives lead generation and enhances sales enablement, while reinforcing brand messaging across digital channels.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Account-Based Marketing & Customer Profile Journeys
- Develop and implement account-based marketing strategies tailored to specific customer profiles.
- Create and manage customer journeys that engage target accounts across digital touchpoints, ensuring seamless content delivery.
- Align ABM strategies with sales and customer success teams to ensure consistency and impact across all channels.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize lead nurturing campaigns, including content creation, segmentation, and timing.
- Digital Campaign Launch & Optimization
- Lead and manage digital marketing campaigns across various platforms (LinkedIn, trade publications, Google Ads, etc.).
- Set up and launch targeted email marketing campaigns, optimizing for lead generation and conversions.
- Continuously monitor campaign performance, providing analysis and insights to adjust and optimize campaigns in real-time.
- Conduct A/B testing on email subject lines, ad copy, landing pages, and other campaign elements to improve performance.
- Email Campaign Tracking & Reporting
- Measure and report on email marketing campaign metrics, including open rates, click-through rates, conversion rates, and ROI.
- Provide detailed analysis on campaign performance, making data-driven recommendations for improvement.
- Manage email lists and ensure compliance with email marketing regulations.
- Digital Advertising on LinkedIn & Trade Publications
- Plan, execute, and optimize digital ads on platforms like LinkedIn and in trade publications to drive lead generation and brand awareness.
- Use targeting techniques to ensure ads reach the right audience based on defined customer profiles.
- Monitor ad performance and adjust campaigns as necessary to maximize ROI, ensuring landing pages are aligned with the ad content for consistent messaging.
- Lead Generation & Nurturing
- Pull leads from website traffic, LinkedIn ads, and other digital campaigns into lead-nurturing workflows.
- Develop and track lead scoring models to prioritize high-quality leads for sales follow-up.
- Regularly measure and report on lead conversion rates, and work with the sales team to improve outcomes.
- Campaign Data Analysis & Reporting
- Track and measure campaign success using tools such as Google Analytics or other marketing platforms.
- Develop comprehensive reports to present campaign results, insights, and future optimization strategies.
- Regularly communicate with internal teams on campaign performance, including opportunities for improvement.
- CRM Management and Salesforce Optimization
- Salesforce Proficiency: Manage and optimize Salesforce integrations, ensuring data integrity, synchronization, and seamless functionality across marketing and sales platforms.
- CRM Expertise: Create and maintain Salesforce reports and dashboards, providing actionable insights to support marketing campaigns and drive strategic decision-making.
- Technical Support: Troubleshoot Salesforce-related issues, implement new fields or features as needed, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance CRM capabilities for marketing.
QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS: [List the main, necessary qualifications, including education, experience, and skills – no more than 5.]
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
- 2–3 years in Digital Marketing, Marketing Analytics, or similar roles.
- 2+ years of experience in digital marketing with a focus on account-based marketing (ABM), lead nurturing, and email campaigns.
- Expertise in marketing automation software (Pardot preferred) and MS Office.
- Proven experience with email marketing platforms (Pardot strongly preferred, or similar) and digital advertising platforms (e.g., LinkedIn Ads, Google Ads).
- Working knowledge with CMS platforms, preferably Contentful, or WordPress, Webflow, or similar for content creation and management across digital channels.
- Expertise in building and analyzing customer journeys, developing targeted ABM strategies, and personalizing content for improved engagement.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and present actionable insights.
- Experience with A/B testing and optimizing campaigns for maximum performance.
- Familiarity with analytics tools such as Google Analytics.
- Experience with CRM systems, particularly Salesforce.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
