The Role
We are seeking a highly motivated, experienced and results-driven Senior Project Manager. You lead a diverse portfolio of customer projects, and ensure successful delivery in time, budget, scope and quality parameters. You are the primary point of contact for both customer stakeholders and our delivery teams and will play a key role in driving project success through effective coordination and management.
In this role, your responsibilities are:
Project Planning and Execution: Lead and manage project portfolio ensuring timely delivery within scope, budget, and quality from project initiation to project closure. Apply appropriate project management methodologies and structure to drive efficient and effective execution.
Team Alignment: Lead cross-functional delivery teams, including solution architects, technical consultants and business analysts, with clear and precise communication on tasks, milestones, budget, timeline and expected business outcomes. Thoroughly manage and maintain resource assignments in business systems on a regular basis and communicate changes promptly.
Stakeholder Management: Act as primary point of contact for customers and internal teams during the lifecycle of the project, fostering strong relationships and ensuring alignment on outcomes. Manage expectations and facilitate regular updates to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Financial Oversight: Monitor project budgets, track resource allocations, and ensure financial accountability aligns with customer and internal expectations.
Outcome Management: Assess and accurately document project objectives and expected business outcomes. Constantly evaluate objectives and expected business outcomes and initiate timely actions to successfully address identified discrepancies.
Risk and Escalation Management: Proactively identify, assess and manage risks, challenges and escalations. Develop mitigation plans and collaborate effectively with other functions and leaders, e.g., Customer Success, Technical Support, Product Management and Engineering. Develop mitigation plans and communicate effectively to all internal and external, technical as well as non-technical, stakeholders.
Documentation and Reporting: Create high-quality project documentation, including project plans, project status reports, financial dashboards, change requests. Constantly maintain project documentation in business systems and provide structured updates to stakeholders, including executive-level reporting.
Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities to optimize processes, improve standards and quality, enhance delivery, and drive team efficiency.
Required Skills
The following skills and qualifications are essential to be successful in this role:
Extensive Project Management Experience: Proven track record in project management roles, ideally within consulting firms or SaaS companies, delivering measurable results.
Exceptional Project Delivery Skills: Expertise in managing multiple projects simultaneously, varying in size and complexity, with typical project lifetimes of 3 to 8 months.
Strong Communication: Ability to communicate effectively with both technical stakeholders and non-technical executives, tailoring messaging to the audience.
Proactive Leadership: Self-starter mindset, capable of independently driving projects from initiation to successful completion.
Team Alignment and Motivation: Ability to align and motivate teams to prioritize project scope, achieve business outcomes, and ensure customer satisfaction, without compromising timelines or budgets.
Context Switching: Ability to seamlessly shift focus between projects, tasks and priorities while maintaining the highest quality of work
Certifications: Project management courses and certifications, e.g.: PMI PMP, PRINCE2, Certified ScrumMaster
Language: Proficiency in English and German, verbal and written, with the ability to conduct business communications and presentations effectively

SaaS Implementation Expertise: Experience in leading SaaS platform implementation projects

Domain Expertise: Understanding of IT Asset Management (ITAM), Software Asset Management (SAM), Cloud FinOps or IT Service Management (ITSM)
Certifications: IT industry recognized courses and certifications, e.g.: ITIL, IAITAM Certified Software Asset Manager, AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner, Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals, FinOps Certified Practitioner
