Position: Cloud Engineer

Location: Tustin, CA

Salary: $125,000 - $165,000

Position Summary:

Cloud Engineer is a strategic position that partners with key stakeholders in the organization to build well-defined secure solutions for cloud foundation aligned to NAF’s ‘cloud-preferred’ strategy.
This role will be focusing on deploying solutions adhering to security and regulatory compliance for cloud foundational components primarily in Microsoft Azure.

Experience:

• Deep understanding of Azure Cloud services like IaaS, PaaS & SaaS, business drivers, and emerging computing trends
• Direct experience of a range services from the Microsoft Azure Cloud Platform including Infrastructure and Security related services such as Azure AD, IaaS, Containers, Storage, Networking and Azure Security.
• Direct experience of enterprise solution shaping and Microsoft Azure Cloud architecture development including excellent documentation skills.
• Experience of setting up, deploying and managing multiple environments to support agile development approaches.
• Ensure all cloud solutions follow security and compliance controls, including data sovereignty.
• Drive and support automation, system reliability, availability and scalability and system performance activities.
• Deep technical experience in infrastructure design Azure public cloud, networking, virtualization, identity, security and storage
• Understanding of how to build resilient multi-site architectures
• Hands-on with tools & methods in capability, business transformation delivery, sizing.
• Must possess excellent automation skills and the ability to drive initiatives to automate processes.
• Building strong cross-functional leadership skills and working together with the operations and engineering teams to make sure that systems are scalable and secure.
• Provide Technical and Architectural guidance to the development teams in an advisory capacity. Guiding developers and operation teams in case of an issue Strong collaboration skills, with a demonstrated ability to work well as part of a team.
• Understanding of DevOps principles, such Infrastructure as Code, Continuous Integration, and Continuous Delivery, with both DevOps and Developer teams Evaluating, implementing, and streamlining DevOps practices.
• Develop and lead the execution of CI/CD pipeline strategy to improve developer productivity, agility, and code quality Understanding of Terraform, IaaS, PaaS, Azure DevOps principles.
• Ability to mentor and guide less experienced engineers on Azure and DevOps.
• Microsoft Azure Platform As A Service (PaaS ) products such as Azure SQL, AppService’s, Logic Apps, Function, Internet of Things, Service Bus & Event Hubs, Cosmos DB and other Serverless services Understanding of Microsoft Identity and Access Management products such including Azure AD or AD B2C Microsoft Azure Operational and Monitoring tools, including Azure Monitor, App Insights and Log Analytics Knowledge of PowerShell, Git, ARM templates and deployment automation.

Education, Certifications and Knowledge:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent is required
• Azure Architecture Certification
• Knowledge of emerging cloud technologies and related ecosystem
