We are actively looking for a Financial Analyst to join our FP&A group. The ideal candidate is well-rounded with experience in corporate FP&A, budgeting and financial modeling.

Responsibilities:

The Financial Analyst will provide key business support to various business partners and organizations within the company and the range of responsibilities includes:

Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts
Build and maintain top and bottom-line financial forecasts, report on key metrics, and create ad hoc queries and financial models
Partner with business units to analyze and identify key drivers of risks and opportunities to help maintain an accurate read on quarterly forecasts
Prepare monthly / quarterly budget vs. actual variance analysis
Monitor key trends / assumptions on headcount, capital expenditures, and operating expenses
Work closely with the Accounting team in monthly close processes to ensure timeliness and accuracy of entries
Leverage Five9 financial systems to automate and scale current processes and reports
Participate in new FP&A initiatives, including ad hoc analysis and process improvement

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting required
3+ years of corporate financial planning and analysis experience or relevant experience in investment banking/private equity
SaaS experience a plus
High analytical acumen and financial modeling skills
Exceptional attention to detail
Experience with planning systems such as Adaptive Insights / Host Analytics / Oracle
Advanced Excel skills required
Basic SQL database knowledge a plus

This role is hybrid. 3 days a week (M, W, TH) in San Ramon office is required.

The US base salary range for this role is below.

$69,000—$129,300 USD
