We are actively looking for a Financial Analyst to join our FP&A group.  The ideal candidate is well-rounded with experience in corporate FP&A, budgeting and financial modeling. 

Responsibilities:  

The Financial Analyst will provide key business support to various business partners and organizations within the company and the range of responsibilities includes:

  • Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts
  • Build and maintain top and bottom-line financial forecasts, report on key metrics, and create ad hoc queries and financial models
  • Partner with business units to analyze and identify key drivers of risks and opportunities to help maintain an accurate read on quarterly forecasts
  • Prepare monthly / quarterly budget vs. actual variance analysis
  • Monitor key trends / assumptions on headcount, capital expenditures, and operating expenses
  • Work closely with the Accounting team in monthly close processes to ensure timeliness and accuracy of entries
  • Leverage Five9 financial systems to automate and scale current processes and reports
  • Participate in new FP&A initiatives, including ad hoc analysis and process improvement

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting required
  • 3+ years of corporate financial planning and analysis experience or relevant experience in investment banking/private equity
  • SaaS experience a plus
  • High analytical acumen and financial modeling skills
  • Exceptional attention to detail
  • Experience with planning systems such as Adaptive Insights / Host Analytics / Oracle
  • Advanced Excel skills required
  • Basic SQL database knowledge a plus

This role is hybrid. 3 days a week (M, W, TH) in San Ramon office is required.

The US base salary range for this role is below.
$69,000$129,300 USD
