As the Senior Director of Product, Retrievals Platform in the Payer Data Product organization, you will lead the product strategy and execution to enable Datavant to best service our Payer customers and deliver valuable outcomes to both Payers and Providers  You will be supporting the largest revenue driving product portfolio at Datavant and will be partnering with your Operations and Growth counterparts to accelerate delivering value to our customers and achieving our targets. You’ll oversee a team of high-performing product managers who are building high-value data products, a unified AI-enabled platform, and a suite of internal tools for our service operations team to ultimately create high-quality products and service experiences to our customers. This area is central to orchestrating the interplay of digital and manual workflows at the core of healthcare information exchange.

As a leader, in this role you will:

  • Own the product roadmap and driving outcomes for Datavant’s’ AI-enabled digital retrieval platform that powers our record retrieval and clinical data acquisition products for Payers
  • Create the vision for Datavant’s powerful product suite that enables the country’s largest health data network and how our capabilities will advance our ability to fulfill our mission, deliver on customer needs, and meet our goals. 
  • Spend time regularly with customers and have a deep understanding of the use cases we power, our clients’ businesses, and the broader Datavant ecosystem. Partner with Sales to create the best value proposition for our customers and use that understanding to create our strategy and anticipate needs & risks.
  • Collaborate closely with engineering, design, data science, operations, product marketing and sales to translate complex challenges into actionable product strategies that will fuel Datavant’s growth
  • Treat the product as a business, delivering value to our customers, and rapid revenue and cost savings by directing how customer use cases, capabilities, positioning, and more come together to create a winning product with a large positive impact on the business. 
  • Build and lead a team of best-in-class product managers and product designers who are high performing, autonomous, and deliver excellence. You lead by example and you implement the right support, processes and strategy to set your team up for success. You are leveling up the brand and skills of not just your team but also the wider Product organization. 
  • Be hands-on by leading high impact efforts.
  • Be a strong communicator, coach, and mentor.

What You Bring to the Table:

  • 9-12 years of product management experience, including designing, building and shipping features and products in partnership with Engineering and Design
  • 5-7 years managing high-performing product management and design teams
  • You have built a brand as a strong leader that delivers excellence

The estimated total cash compensation range for this role is $285,000-$340,000.
