OVERVIEW OF THE ROLE
We’re looking for a Core Account Manager to join our team! The successful candidate will be managing accounts within the EMEA territories, across our Risk.net, Waters Technology and FX Markets brands. A full book of business will be provided for renewal with a growth target attached. You will also be expected to drive additional business through proactive prospecting within your account pool via, identifying, contacting, pitching and selling subscriptions to additional users. The candidate will also work closely with the New Business Sales team, in identifying viable prospects for Risk. Nets additional products such as Risk Quantum, Counter Party Radar and our CRO Network.

KEY TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Renewals, Retention & Revenue: Ensure contract renewals and prevent churn by providing value and maintaining client satisfaction whilst driving price and increasing client spend.
- Building and Maintaining Relationships: Serve as the main point of contact for clients, fostering trust and long-term relationships.
- Understanding Client Needs: Actively listen to clients to understand their goals, challenges, and needs, ensuring that the company provides solutions aligned with those needs.
- Upselling and Cross-Selling: Identify opportunities to introduce additional products or services that would benefit the client.
- Stay informed about the financial markets to spot trends, look for new opportunities and establish credibility with our customers by understanding their business
- Ensure a high level of customer service which will involve training clients on how to best use our products
- Managing and maintaining monthly and quarterly pipeline and keeping detailed records of client correspondence on internal CRM system.
- Attending industry events and visiting clients will be required, as well as potential travel for face-to-face meetings, when appropriate.
Requirements
- A minimum of 1-3 years of successful proactive business development, sales, marketing, or lead generation/enablement.
- Experience in direct Account Management and a successful track record of driving price increase at the point of renewal.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Must live within commutable distance of our London office and commit to being in at least 3 days a week
- An understanding of financial concepts and principles as they relate to clients’ needs is a strong plus
- Additional language is a bonus, but not a requirement
