Job description

As a Senior Project Manager within Studion's Life Sciences practice, you will play a pivotal leadership role in driving complex projects for eClinical and pharmaceutical clients, ensuring the rapid and effective deployment of clinical trial platforms and applications. Your deep industry expertise, advanced project management skills, and ability to collaborate across teams will position you as the key liaison between clients, internal teams, and stakeholders. You will leverage your entrepreneurial mindset, problem-solving acumen, and sense of humor to manage project lifecycles, mitigate risks, and to help ensure the successful delivery of life-changing therapies to market.

What You'll Do
  • Lead life sciences customers through the rapid configuration and implementation of clinical trial applications, ensuring alignment with their clinical platforms and key business drivers.
  • Oversee the full project lifecycle, including planning, resource management, progress tracking, risk mitigation, and ensuring on-time, on-budget delivery.
  • Act as the primary liaison between clients, internal teams, and stakeholders, fostering clear communication and strong relationships.
  • Provide leadership and mentorship to project team members, promoting collaboration, knowledge-sharing, and high performance.
  • Support pre-sales activities by defining customer needs, scoping engagements, and delivering Statements of Work.
  • Drive customer success by ensuring clients are supported throughout the engagement lifecycle, delivering exceptional service and value.
  • Ensure governance and regulatory compliance, while identifying and leading process improvement initiatives to optimize workflows and project outcomes.
  • Facilitate team training and onboarding to strengthen project management practices and maintain consistency across engagements.

  • Who You Are
  • Project Management Expertise: 7+ years of experience in project management, with at least 5 years in the clinical trial industry.Proven track record of leading high-impact global system implementation programs, particularly in life sciences.Experience in services delivery management, including optimizing project methodologies and tools.
  • Life Sciences Knowledge: Strong working knowledge of clinical trial processes, including document and data collection in clinical operations.Expertise in life sciences compliance, computer systems validation (CSV), and regulatory requirements.Direct experience with clinical technologies such as ECOA/EPRO, DCT, and other trial platforms.
  • Technical and Business Acumen: Experience with clinical software solutions in operations, trial management, or consulting roles within pharmaceutical, biotech, or medical device sectors.SaaS/Cloud experience, preferably in a customer-facing role or professional services environment.Ability to quickly understand and translate business requirements into actionable plans and solutions.
  • Collaboration and Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.Proven ability to engage with senior-level clients and internal stakeholders.Experience working closely with sales teams in pre-sales environments, including scoping engagements and contributing to client proposals.
  • Customer-Focused Leadership: Proven ability to manage complex client relationships and deliver exceptional service.Experience mentoring teams and driving collaborative, results-driven environments.
