So what is the role?

Are you ready to transform coffee operations at scale? In this role, you will take our coffee manufactory to the next level, developing and automating processes, building strategic partnerships, and ensuring our roasting operations are efficient, high-quality, and scalable:Â

Transferring our coffee manufactory into scalable and automated coffee operations.
Developing a scalable roasting strategy (make/buy/partner) with a focus on efficiency, quality, and reproducibility.
Creating a coffee marketplace strategy to seamlessly integrate third-party roasters into the nunc. ecosystem, including the business model and partner contracts.
Building and maintaining partner relationships with third-party roasters to ensure sustainable and successful cooperation.
Automating processes along the entire value chainâfrom coffee roasting to shipping.
Selecting and introducing suitable packaging systems based on the developed roasting strategy.
Further developing the consumable strategy to ensure a strong product portfolio in the long term.
Implementing sustainable and efficient supply chains for packaging components.

This is the next level you achieve after 6 months:

Scaling strategy: Develop and implement a scalable roasting strategy (make/buy/partner) with a clear roadmap.
Marketplace model: Create a viable business model for integrating third-party roasting companies into the nunc. ecosystem, including initial partner agreements.
Automation: Kickstart process automation along the value chainâfrom roasting to shipping.
Supply chains: Establish scalable and sustainable supply chains for packaging components.
Partner network: Build stable and trusting relationships with at least [insert number] third-party roasters and initiate joint projects.

What you need for this role:

Passion for coffee, entrepreneurial spirit, and a strategic mindset.
Experience inÂ business development, supply chain management, orÂ process optimization, ideally in theÂ food orÂ consumer goods industry.
Structured working style with the ability to lead projects independently from idea to implementation.
Knowledge ofÂ process automation and/orÂ operations management.
An eye forÂ sustainable and innovative solutions in production and packaging.
StrongÂ communication and negotiation skills, especially in partner management.
Fluent in English and German.
Excitement for shaping an innovative coffee start-up.
