About the role

Experienced sales engineering professional. Provides technical advice to customers and helps to develop proposals based on customer's requirements. Responsible for engagement with local customers as well maintaining updated documents and processes to enhance the performance of sales engineering.

Role Responsibilities:
  • Drive the “Voice of the Customer” into all aspects of the business.
  • Drive for results: Join the Regional Sales Manager in further extending the local footprint while achieving commercial targets in line with the LenelS2 growth vision.
  • Be the regional technical resource and single point of contact for the local LenelS2 VAR channel and consultant network.
  • Solution knowledge: Provide presales field consultancy, quotations, tender support, PoC support and tailored training to authorized LenelS2 resellers, end users and consultants.
  • Initiate and run live and digital events (webinars & presentations) for VARs, end users and consultants.
  • Act as a crucial influencer and driver across the LenelS2 Australia and New Zealand community.
  • Contribute and commit to the internal LenelS2 ANZ group.
  • Work with the Sales Management Team to identify and support industry influencers and consultants to further develop and answer the demand for LenelS2 solutions.
  • Eager to support the Regional Sales Manager with executive targeting presentations and demos.
  • Represent LenelS2 at regional trade shows and industry events.
  • Regional technical sales liaison with marketing/ engineering/ product management/ operations/ management teams.
    Minimum Requirements:
    • Ready to become a Subject Matter Expert in a dedicated vertical industry.
    • Experienced in tender reviews, spec-in and bid support.
    • Prepared to support the sales team in large-scale negotiations.
    • Open to remote and onsite activities with a share of 30% business travel under usual circumstances.​
    • Solid technical knowledge of integrated security systems.
    • Brilliant knowledge on how to practically apply Physical Security Solutions to provide added value to end user operations.
    • Confident in explaining complex technical solutions to non-technical audiences.
    • Proficiency in IT terminology, common market applications and architecture designs.
    • Familiarity with field support actions (Trials, PoCs, demos).
    • Mission-critical system design and engineering (failover, high availability, resilience, system hardening).
    • Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Business Engineering or Computer Science and/ or equivalent field experience with electronic access control systems, Physical Security Solutions & industry, and/or information technology.    
    • Prepared to join an out-of-the-box thinking work environment.
