Allianz Services Mauritius is looking for highly motivated professionals to join our dynamic and professional Data Privacy team. The Data Privacy Analyst will support the implementation and growth of our privacy programs while learning the fundamentals of data privacy and AI governance.

 

This entry-level role is ideal for recent university graduates eager to specialize in data privacy and AI governance. You will assist in privacy assessments, contribute to process development, and work closely with senior team members to enhance compliance across the organization.

 

What You'll Be Doing:

 

  • Learn and Support Privacy Initiatives:
    • Assist in advising on compliance with data privacy regulations and Allianz Privacy Standards under the guidance of senior team members
    • Shadow and support colleagues conducting Privacy Impact Assessments and security risk assessments
  • Contribute to Program Development:
    • Collaborate with the team in drafting privacy policies, procedures, and governance frameworks
    • Help create awareness campaigns and training materials for data privacy within the organization
  • Handle Basic Privacy Operations:
    • Support the team in responding to simple data subject requests (e.g., access requests, consent withdrawal)
    • Track and document privacy incidents to ensure alignment with organizational standards
  • Focus on AI Governance:
    • Explore AI governance topics, including ethical considerations, compliance frameworks, and emerging regulations
    • Demonstrate a willingness to specialize in AI governance by engaging in training and cross-team collaborations
  • Develop Negotiation and Review Skills:
    • Assist in reviewing data processing agreements under supervision to ensure compliance with organizational policies to their Internal Control System requirements

  • Recent graduate with a bachelor’s degree in law, IT, business, or related fields
  • No prior experience required; internships or coursework in data privacy, law, or technology is a plus
  • Eager to specialize in data privacy and AI governance, with a strong interest in learning about compliance and emerging technologies
  • Basic understanding of data privacy principles (e.g., GDPR) and willingness to expand knowledge
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to work collaboratively
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
