The following challenges await you:
Strategic Leadership:
• Lead the medical affairs strategy, aligning with company goals and ensuring the scientific direction of ETS product offerings.
• Provide scientific and clinical insights to the commercial team, supporting clinical, marketing, sales, and medical education initiatives.
Medical Education & Training:
• Develop and implement a comprehensive medical education plan for internal teams, external healthcare professionals, and stakeholders in the wound care community.
• Lead the creation and delivery of educational materials and training programs for medical, sales, and marketing teams.
Cross-functional Collaboration:
• Provide medical input into regulatory submissions, including FDA and EMA filings.
• Collaborate with the regulatory affairs team to ensure timely approvals and market access for wound care products.
Market Access and Health Economics:
• Support market access strategies by providing medical expertise on clinical evidence and the value proposition of wound care products.
• Collaborate with health economics and outcomes research teams to generate evidence supporting product reimbursement and market access.
Your Profile:
• MD, PharmD, PhD, or equivalent advanced degree in a relevant field.
• Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in the medical device, biotechnology, and tissue biologics of the healthcare industry.
• Proven track record in medical affairs, clinical development, or scientific affairs with strong expertise in wound care or related specialties.
• Experience influencing but not leading cross-functional teams and interacting with KOLs and external stakeholders.
• Strong understanding of regulatory requirements, clinical trial design, and evidence generation in wound care.
• Expertise in scientific communication, including publications, conference presentations, and medical education.
• Previous experience in startup and medium sized companies
• Exceptional quantitative, analytical, and written skills.
• Excellent negotiation skills for a wide variety of audiences, including sales and marketing leadership.
