About Us:

About the Position:

TJFACT is seeking to hire a well-versed Principal Project Manager (Remote) in Washington DC to support the Internal Revenue Service - IRS.

 

Please note that this role is contingent upon award.

 

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Leading the successful completion of all tasks in the assigned program area, including technical work, staff management, budget, and financial activities.
  • Supervising assigned technical and administrative staff, including subordinate managers, and overseeing daily task activities to meet objectives.
  • Ensuring the quality of task products, services, and deliverables through participation in reviews, audits, and site visits.
  • Researching and verifying data in monthly status reports, such as balances, costs, funding, and cost management.
  • Coordinating and monitoring subcontractor and consultant activities, including the administration of deliverables and finances.
  • Developing, reviewing, and approving plans, schedules, and other technical documents.
  • Ensuring compliance with corporate and government policies and standards, while maintaining all necessary project-related documentation.
  • Overseeing workload management for IT service desk contractors, assigning and monitoring tasks, and adjusting schedules to meet objectives.
  • Independently and collaboratively fostering a productive working environment.
  • Attending meetings, training, and technical/procedural/security sessions as required by the organization.
  • Participating in working sessions via online collaborative tools or communication platforms.
  • Supporting the development and maintenance of policies, plans, procedures, processes, schedules, guidance material, and standards.
  • Providing feedback related to knowledge articles and processes in asset management systems.

 

Required Qualification:

  • U.S. citizen
  • At least 7 years of experience in project management or a related field.
  • Proficiency in Aternity software, ServiceNow applications and software, eGain applications, Bomgar software, Microsoft Office Products, and Apple iOS software products.
  • Strong technical skills to manage IT service desk resources and workload effectively.
  • Proven supervisory experience to assign, monitor, and adjust workloads for contractors.
  • Ability to work independently and lead a team to maintain a productive environment.

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree from Accredited Institute.
  • Customer service principles and customer support methods.
  • Troubleshooting, remote installation of software and hardware, and resolving IT issues on desktops and laptops.
  • Remote chat service delivery and understanding of equipment configurations, operating systems, and utility programs.
  • Business operations as they relate to a service desk environment and systems.
  • Participating in audits and site visits for quality assurance.
  • Managing subcontractor and consultant deliverables and finances.
  • Developing and maintaining technical documents, policies, plans, and schedules.
  • Ability to effectively participate in and contribute to working sessions, meetings, and online collaborative environments.
