ABOUT THE ROLE

Irisity develops and produces an industry-leading suite of advanced video analytics products that use cutting-edge AI technologies.

We are now seeking a Solution Engineer, Europe to join our strong and dynamic team. In this role, you will collaborate closely with the sales organization to ensure we provide exceptional support and attention to a defined group of integrators, consultants, end customers and distributors. You will therefore be the central point for educating and building up Irisity’s analytics knowledge and deployments across Europe, with a focused priority on specific countries within the region.

Your area of focus will be multifold, challenging and fun and the ideal candidate will bring a strong technical background coupled with commercial understanding. No two days at Irisity are the same, which sets a high expectation on the candidate. On the one hand, you plan and organize your time well ahead while remaining flexible and agile as priorities shift.

You will work remotely from your home office with the capability to travel within the region. Therefore, a willingness to travel is essential.

JOB TASKS & KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Technical Expertise & Consultation
• Understand the features and functionalities of video analytics solutions, including AI-based analytics, real-time monitoring, and integration with security systems
• Assess client requirements and design tailored solutions to address their specific use cases (e.g., surveillance, retail analytics, traffic management)

Sales Support
• Partner with the sales team to deliver compelling technical presentations, product demonstrations, and proof-of-concept (PoC) solutions
• Prepare technical proposals, including architecture diagrams, system designs, and documentation, to support sales bids and RFP responses

Solution Design
• Work closely with clients to design and recommend scalable, efficient, and cost-effective video analytics solutions
• Integrate solutions with existing IT infrastructure, including video management systems (VMS), cloud platforms, and hardware components

Customer Engagement
• Serve as the technical point of contact for clients throughout the presales process
• Conduct workshops, presentations, and training sessions to educate clients on the value and capabilities of video analytics systems

Collaboration
• Collaborate with product and engineering teams to ensure alignment between client needs and product capabilities
• Provide feedback to product development teams to improve solutions based on client feedback

Market Knowledge
• Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitors in the video analytics space

• Strong partner and end customer relationships in Europe
• Use insights to position the company’s solutions effectively and identify new business opportunities

QUALIFICATIONS

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field

Experience
• 5+ years in a technical presales, solution architect, or related role in video analytics, surveillance, or similar industries
• Hands-on experience with AI-powered video analytics tools, VMS platforms, and cloud technologies is a plus

Technical Skills

• In-depth technical knowledge of IT, especially network, storage and Linux OS is a MUST
• Experience with working in virtualization technologies such as VMWare
• Experience with Kubernetes cluster in a production environment, Certified Kubernetes
• Administrator (CKA) is an advantage
• Knowledge of Kubernetes DNS how it interacts with external DNS servers
• Experience with logging and monitoring tools (specifically Elasticsearch and Kibana)
• Experience with Kubernetes monitoring tools Rancher / KubeSphere

Soft Skills

• Excellent presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple clients and projects simultaneously
• A proactive, results-driven attitude with a focus on getting things done

Language Skills

Irisity is an international company with English as its corporate language. Fluency in English is required. Proficiency in a second European language is an advantage, with priority given to Scandinavian languages, Dutch, or Spanish.
