POSITION SUMMARY:

We have an immediate opportunity for a Territory Manager in our California market and surrounding areas. The Territory Manager is responsible for managing a territory by selling products through our established distribution channels. As a Territory Manager, you help developing and established customers leverage our various products and programs, optimize their product, and maximize their utilization.

  PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Execute the TAT sales plan, work within company policies & programs, and meet annual sales performance goals expectations.
  • Plan Pre-call sales, establish customer relationships, identify sales opportunities, present & demonstrate product /programs, and close sales.
  • Develop annual Business Plan, submit annual territory review, monitor customer inventory levels, partner with customers to improve metrics, identify & capitalize on opportunities, and complete post-call activities & follow-up.
  • Manage accounts – key, existing, and new, supervise distributor activities, evaluate distributor performance, and train distribution personnel.
  • Control sales expense, manage time efficiently, develop monthly sales forecast, and address & resolve problems.
  • Improve product knowledge, selling skills, and business acumen.

QUALIFICATIONS:

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor’s degree from four-year college or university preferred; or a combination of education and experience/training. 
  • Management experience or desire/ability to lead a sales team is desired but not necessary.
  • Bi-lingual is a plus.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITIES:

  • Three + years of outside sales experience (automotive aftermarket preferred).
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, as well as presentation abilities to people at all levels of management
  • Prior PBE experience
  • Product Knowledge & Confidence
  • Business Acumen which includes financial literacy, market orientation, and strategic perspective
  • Territory Planning & Management
  • Proficient computer skills; MS Office products

TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS:

Approximately 75% of time.

PAY: $55-80k salary plus commission. Commission varies but can be around 30% of your cash compensation.
