A Quality Engineer develops quality requirements for the organization’s raw materials, in-process products, and finished products and design and implement the measures, tests, sampling methods, and other procedures that ensure that these requirements are met.

As Quality Engineer I your responsibilities will be:

  • Perform quality analysis and inspections, for example data analysis, benchmark testing, localization, and destructive/non-destructive analysis.

  • Evaluate raw materials, components, and other inputs to the production process and liaise with external vendors and suppliers to ensure that their products meet the organization’s quality standards.

  • Evaluate the organization’s manufacturing processes, systems, and technology and recommend changes that will improve the quality of the organization’s finished products.

  • Maintain and analyze quality records to prepare regular and ad hoc reports; check that established testing procedures are being followed; identify and address recurring problems either with the quality of the product or the reliability of testing procedures. Educate and train quality assurance inspectors and other staff to ensure that they understand and comply with established quality procedures and standards.

  • Is responsible for leading Quality Improvement team and Corrective action system in his/her area

  • Identify needs of improvement areas and initiate corrective actions

  • Identifies the benefits from Quality actions (Customer satisfaction, COT, CoPQ, other)

The desired candidate will have:

  • Mechanical or electrical engineering education.

  • CAD engineering systems user knowledge

  • Basic office and ERP usage skills

  • Good written and spoken English, other languages are benefit.

Professional requirements:

  • At least 3 years' relevant work experience, preferably in quality field

  • Good technical understanding of designs and solutions that meet customer expectations.

  • Knowledge and experience of manufacturing/operational process(es) and their continuous improvement through application of Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing and/or other proven methodologies

  • Resource planning and resource management skills

  • Project management skills and experience

  • Designing skills and ability to utilize latest design/drawing tools and processes.
