About the Opportunity

Are you passionate about delivering flawless software experiences? Do you have a keen eye for detail and a knack for uncovering hidden bugs? If so, we invite you to join WeSalute as a Sr. Quality Assurance Engineer!

In this role, you'll be an integral part of our software development lifecycle, ensuring that our products meet the highest quality standards. You'll work closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to design and execute test plans, identify and track defects, and provide valuable feedback to improve the overall quality of our software.

Who You Are
  • 5+ years of experience in software quality assurance
  • Strong understanding of software testing methodologies and best practices
  • Experience with manual and automated testing tools
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills

  • What You'll Do
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand product requirements and create comprehensive test plans prior and during development
  • Identify potential risks in software quality and provide feedback to help improve robustness of the platform
  • Develop risk analysis strategies and plans
  • Develop reusable test strategies depending on the feature, technologies, and product vertices 
  • Contribute to internal documentation
  • Identify, document, and track defects found during testing
  • Review user interfaces for conformity, functionality and performance
  • Develop and execute manual and automated test cases
  • Provide detailed and timely feedback to software engineers
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of our quality assurance processes

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field
  • Proven work experience in black-box and white-box testing, functional and performance testing, experience in backend testing is a plus
  • Experience with automated testing tools, such as Mabl
  • Experience with Node/Typescript unit testing, such as ts-jest
  • Experienced in scaled quality assurance methodology and understanding CI/CD
  • Jira experience 
  • Excellent proficiency in both verbal and written English communication

     WeSalute employment requires you to have reliable internet access, specifically high-speed internet, for the successful execution of your work responsibilities. This evaluation will be conducted using Cloudflare's Speed Test, and you will be required to provide a screenshot of their connection as evidence.
