Role and Purpose
This position will report to the Director of Product Marketing. It will be home office based and may require up to 20% travel (primarily for InterPayments and Partner events).
You convert our partners’ goals into reality. Enterprise companies seek a solution to their processing fee pain points, often reaching out to their payment partners for help. Their partners, however, provide many other services, and often need help themselves understanding the unique complications and nuances of fee recovery. You will deliver that understanding, creating messages that educate partners and their customers on the solutions they need.
Working with payment partners, you put yourselves into their customer’s shoes to determine what best addresses their needs. You provide highly targeted and, in many cases, personalized messaging. You ensure the messaging is incredibly clear, easy to consume, and addresses their needs. You educate partners on how to strategically focus and deliver that messaging so it has the highest impact on customers.
You want to make an impact. As the first partner marketing hire, you want to build partner marketing from the ground up. You are motivated by the large mission we have. How you’ll make an impact
- Strategic Leadership: Execute and refine an efficient, comprehensive partner marketing strategy aligned with business goals, focusing on B2B SaaS.
- Content Marketing Ownership: Create, tailor, and deliver marketing content for various payment partners, each with unique branding, channels, content needs,, and customer verticals.
- Sales Empowerment: Support the enablement of the sales team as they navigate product, market, and go-to-market differences across partners.
- Events and Field Marketing: Work with the Marketing team to execute and deliver on an aggressive events calendar that includes exhibition and sponsorship. Attendance at some events is required.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with sales, product, and other teams to align marketing efforts with overall business objectives and foster a collaborative environment.
- Data-Driven Decision Making: Gather and leverage data and analytics to measure campaign effectiveness, identify areas for improvement, and make data-driven decisions to optimize marketing performance.
- Budget Management: Effectively manage marketing budgets, ensuring efficient allocation of resources across various channels and campaigns.
- Technology Adoption: Evaluate, implement, and manage marketing technology stack to enhance campaign effectiveness and streamline processes, including AI-driven approaches.
- Market Research: Stay abreast of industry trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to inform marketing strategies and maintain a competitive edge.
Requirements:
- 5-6 years of B2B Enterprise SaaS-focused product/content marketing experience
- Results-oriented personality who can’t function without employing a quantitative and metrics-driven strategy
- Experimental with new strategies and technologies (including AI) to improve impact
- Prolific and charismatic written communication
- Proven ability to work cross functionally with internal stakeholders and external vendors
- Some experience with leading or supporting event and field marketing
- Proven ability to message to the various personas that contribute to an enterprise company’s buying process
- Self-starter, independent driver who can execute with minimal supervision, balance multiple activities simultaneously, and pivot quickly to achieve deadlines
