The Learning and Development Manager works with the Head of Service Delivery and COO to support the growth and development of our teams as they strive to deliver best-in-class service to Aduro’s ever-evolving client base. The Learning and Development Manager works directly with the Head of Service Delivery and COO to design and implement various technical training programs based on role and tenure at Aduro. Ideal candidates are passionate about user experience and curious about understanding how to best connect, onboarding, and train team members seated remotely across the country. A successful person in this role will know the balance between seeking collaboration and guidance from others, while moving work forward independently. 


Here is the type of work you will do:

  • Work closely with Client Service Leadership, People Operations Leadership, and other key stakeholders including Aduro employees to review and update existing training programs and design new and impactful trainings that meet overall employee development needs and the ever-evolving needs of the Aduro client base 
  • Own the annual Aduro Learning and Development curriculum, including the design of unique learning paths by role, tenure (including new hire and promotion training tracks), and across various topics including technical fund accounting, operational/fund administration, and professional development
  • Manage all aspects of training sessions including but not limited to bigger picture training course design, project management of training material development with Aduro Subject Matter Experts (SMEs), project management of training material review by Aduro SMEs, planning & facilitation of training sessions (may be in-person, via Zoom or the LMS), effective distribution and communication of training materials to Aduro team 
  • Work with Aduro SMEs to review and update existing Aduro training materials to reflect industry updates or change in process
  • Review training materials to ensure Aduro brand consistency, clarity, and appropriateness based on audience, topic, etc. 
  • Measure the effectiveness of Aduro training programs through LMS adoption and performance data as well as client, employee, and service leadership feedback

The salary range for the Learning and Development Manager position is $80,000 - $100,000. Salary is determined based on current market data and candidate experience level.

Requirements
  • Strong project management, organizational skills, and prioritization a must
  • Thrive in training delivery, coaching, and presentation skills 
  • Experience in conceptualizing, building, and deploying training programs to an audience of varied experience levels preferred
  • Self-motivated, able to work independently, comfortable working remotely, but with the ability to periodically travel to Denver, CO. 
  • Positive team leader with excellent written and verbal communication skills 
  • Must feel comfortable leading some in-person or online training sessions (via Zoom or via Aduro’s Learning Management System)
  • High attention to detail and understanding/curiosity around different learning styles 
  • Experience in audit or alternative asset industry a plus
  • Curious by nature with enthusiasm for understanding the training needs of Aduro employees as they serve a dynamic and ever-evolving client base
  • Excellent project managers that prioritize competing tasks and collaborate with stakeholders across the organization 
  • Passionate about creating a robust Learning and Development program to meet the needs of a high-performing, hybrid workforce across varying levels of experience 
  • Service efficiency using technology is core to Aduro’s service offering: must be system-savvy and comfortable leveraging technology including Learning Management tools, GSuite, Microsoft Office, Slack, Box, Trello, Zoom, etc. 
  • Experience with Accounting Software such as Quickbooks, Xero, BILL, or Intralinks a plus
