Working in the eprocurement sector, we are currently looking for a digital marketing specialist to join our team at Periscope.

As the Digital Marketing Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our digital marketing strategy and executing campaigns to achieve our business objectives for the TRX team at mdf commerce. You will be responsible for managing our Marketing Automation software and leveraging your design skills to create visually compelling content that resonates with our audience. Your creativity, strategic mindset, and analytical prowess will be instrumental in driving success in this role.

What will your main responsibilities look like?

In this role, you will be led to:

  • Digital Strategy Development: Collaborate with the marketing team to develop comprehensive digital marketing strategies aligned with business goals and target audience insights and assist with market research when required.
  • Marketing Automation Software Management: Oversee the configuration, optimization, and utilization of our Marketing Automation software as our primary marketing automation platform. This includes developing and managing workflows, email campaigns, landing pages, microsites, and growing the overall usage and strategy of Marketing Automation.
  • Campaign Management: Plan, execute, and optimize multi-channel marketing campaigns across various digital platforms, including email, social media, PPC, SEO, and content marketing.
  • Performance Analysis: Monitor and analyze the performance of digital marketing campaigns using relevant metrics and KPIs. Generate insights to optimize campaign effectiveness and drive continuous improvement.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams, including marketing, sales, and products, to align digital marketing initiatives with overall business objectives. Communicate campaign updates, results, and recommendations to stakeholders effectively.
  • Stay Updated: Stay abreast of industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in digital marketing and design. Proactively identify opportunities for innovation and optimization.
  • BONUS SKILL: Content Creation and Design: Utilize your design skills to create engaging visual assets for digital campaigns, including graphics, infographics, and web pages. Ensure all content is on-brand and aligns with our messaging and design guidelines.

What elements of your professional background will be necessary and useful in this role?

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, graphic design, or a related field.
  • Proven experience (3–5 years) in digital marketing, with a focus on campaign management, marketing automation software administration, and design.
  • Proficiency in marketing automation platforms.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and generate actionable insights.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and project management skills.
  • Creative thinker with a passion for staying ahead of digital marketing trends.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • Strong design skills and proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, etc.) is a plus
  • Experience with HTML/CSS and web design principles is a plus.
