Motion Graphics Animator

About the position:

As Motion Graphics Animator, you’re responsible for doing animations for many of our +30 clients. The motion design work we do include 3D, 2D, Compositing and other VFX, kinetic typography and sometimes character animations (and if you do Illustration even better!).

This is a broad profile search, so you only have to be proficient in some of the areas mentioned! 

On thing we really value is organization. We try to be as organized as possible, so the work comes in the form of tasks where you’ll find all the info you’ll ever need. It can be a broad range of tasks from tracking a phone screen, animating some 2D text and shapes, or bringing a character to life! We have a diverse team so we try to spread the kind of work we have for the areas you are more interested in developing and improving!


What you will do:

• Creating some banger Motion Design pieces and Ads for Ready Set Clients. 
• Provide support and mentorship to Video Editors and Junior Motion Graphics Animators.
• Collaborate with Creative Directors for improving our Ads and final products.

You have:

• An experienced motion designer who has lots of range and a passion for their work.

• Works well remotely - it’s a particular setup with its own pros and cons.

• Willing to work within brand guidelines and help ensure our clients love our creativity.
• Driven by creating ads that help our clients sell more of their products. Open to iterating based on the data that comes back on what’s working.

You are:

• You are nimble with the workflow from After Effects to Illustrator, and Photoshop.
• You have a strong feeling for Animation principles, leverage the bounce and squash!
• You have a sense of Design, hierarchy of elements, balance and aesthetics.
• You are nitpicky with organization, folder structure, and workflow.
• You are comfortable with talking in english to Creative Directors or Editors, we value teamwork!
• If you can Illustrate or Design is also a really good differentiator! 
• If you can navigate in the seas of Cinema 4D or Blender for some 3D tasks is a plus!
