Job description

The role

Do you thrive on bridging the gap between business needs and technical possibilities? At Pleo, we’re on the lookout for a Business Technology Analyst to join our Business Applications team and drive the integration and enhancement of tools that empower our commercial teams.

In this role, you’ll dive into the technical details of CRM and Customer Success applications, working closely with Business Systems Analysts (BSAs) and stakeholders across the organization. Together, you’ll build, configure, and integrate solutions that streamline processes, ensure smooth data flows, and maximize user adoption. If solving complex technical puzzles while driving real business impact excites you, this role might just be your next challenge.

  • Integration Projects: Design and implement integrations between platforms, ensuring seamless workflows and data exchange.
  • Technical Solution Design: Develop scalable, reliable, and efficient solutions to meet business objectives, including automation and process optimizations.
  • Problem Resolution: Troubleshoot and resolve issues within SaaS applications, liaising with vendors and internal IT teams as needed.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Translate technical concepts into clear, actionable insights for technical and non-technical stakeholders alike.
  • Documentation: Maintain comprehensive technical documentation, including system architecture, integration workflows, and configurations.
  • Testing & Validation: Conduct rigorous testing to ensure new features and integrations meet business requirements and function as intended.
  • Compliance & Security: Ensure all technical solutions adhere to company policies, industry regulations, and best practices for data security and privacy.
What you'll bring
  • Education: A Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Experience:
    • 3–5 years in a similar role, focusing on SaaS applications and system integrations.
    • Hands-on experience with enterprise systems like ERP or CRM platforms.
  • Technical Skills:
    • Solid proficiency in JavaScript, with familiarity in React and Node.js.
    • Proven experience with API integrations, particularly REST APIs.
    • Strong knowledge of database management and SQL queries.
    • Familiarity with SaaS platforms like Salesforce, Workday, or NetSuite.
  • Business Acumen: A knack for understanding business processes and translating them into technical solutions.
  • Problem-Solving: Analytical skills with a laser focus on crafting efficient solutions to complex challenges.
  • Communication: Exceptional ability to explain technical ideas to diverse audiences, from technical peers to business stakeholders.
Bonus points for
  • Experience with cloud-based platforms and integrations.
  • Knowledge of ITIL, Agile, or similar methodologies.
  • Certifications in relevant SaaS platforms (e.g., HubSpot, NetSuite ERP Consultant).

Why join us?

Working at Pleo means you're working on something very exciting: the future of work. Our mission is to help every company go beyond the books. Pleo itself means ‘more than you’d expect’, and it’s been the secret to our success over the last 8 years. So it’s only fitting that we’d pass this philosophy onto our customers to help them make the most of their finances.

We think company spending should be delegated to all employees and teams, that it should be as automated as possible, and that it should drive a culture of responsible spending. Finance teams shouldn’t be siloed from the rest of the organisation – they should work in unity with marketing, sales, IT and everyone else.

Speaking of working in unity, our values tell the story of how we work at Pleo. We have four core values, the first of which is ‘champion the customer’, which means we address real pain points that businesses face. Next up is ‘succeed as a team’, which highlights how our strength lies in our diversity and trust in each other. We also ‘make it happen’ by taking bold decisions and following through to deliver results. Last but not least, we ‘build to scale’, creating lasting solutions that address today’s challenges and anticipate tomorrow’s needs.

So, in a nutshell, that's Pleo. Today we are a 850+ team, from over 100 nations, sitting in our Copenhagen HQ, London, Stockholm, Berlin, Madrid, Montreal and Lisbon offices —and quite a few full-time remotes in 35 other countries! Being HQ'd out of Copenhagen means we're inspired by things like a good work-life balance. If you don't work in the office with us, we'll help you set up the best remote setup possible and make sure you still have time to connect with your team.
