Role Overview:

We are seeking a Senior Marketing Automation and Technology Specialist to join our team and elevate our marketing technology stack.


This role focuses on leveraging customer data to drive customer engagement through personalized and impactful customer experiences. The ideal candidate will have a deep technical understanding of marketing systems, data integrations, and audience management, coupled with a strategic mindset to support business goals.


Key Responsibilities:

Marketing Automation and Platform Management:

  • Manage and optimize our marketing technology stack to support lead generation, nurturing, and retention campaigns.
  • Configure, test, and deploy marketing workflows and campaigns across platforms.


Customer Data Platform (CDP) and Customer Engagement Expertise (CEP):

  • Build and manage customer traits, profiles, and audiences in our CDP.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to determine the best practices for storing and using customer data across CRM, CDP, and other platforms.
  • Work with our CDP and CEP to design and execute data-driven, personalized engagement strategies in partnership with Marketing stakeholders.

Integrations and Data Management:

  • Design and implement integrations across the marketing tech stack to ensure seamless data flow and accessibility.
  • Collaborate with developers to QA data collection, troubleshoot issues, and improve data accuracy and completeness.


Analytics and Insights:

  • Develop and maintain reports on campaign performance, customer engagement, and data quality to provide actionable insights to the broader team.


Cross-Functional Collaboration:

  • Partner with marketing, sales, and IT teams to understand data requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
  • Ensure compliance with data privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA) across all marketing technologies.


Qualifications

Experience:

  • At least 3+ years of experience in marketing automation, technology, or related fields.
  • Hands-on experience with CDPs (preferably Segment) and customer engagement platforms.
  • Proven expertise in Marketo and Salesforce.
  • Background in eCommerce and/or life sciences is a strong advantage.

Technical Skills:

  • Deep understanding of marketing integrations, API usage, and data flows.
  • Proficient in building and managing traits, profiles, and audiences within a CDP.
  • Ability to collaborate with developers to QA data collection and resolve technical issues.
  • Knowledge of data storage best practices for CRM and CDP.

Soft Skills:

  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally and align technical solutions with business goals.
