In this role, you will support the Chief People Officer (CPO) in all backend aspects of the department. Our fast-expanding team is built on a network of full-time employees, contractors, vendors, and practitioners. All are treated with fair expectations and invited to participate in the cultural elements of Keyo.
This position will focus on everything related that goes into the structural aspect of the department, all the while, contributing to a safe ecosystem for team members to raise their concerns and lead cases to effective and compliant closures. Additionally, this position will support the CPO in various (exciting) projects throughout their tenure.
Key Responsibilities
- Payroll Administration: Process payroll for our global employees, independent contractors, and agencies.
- Federal & Multi-State HR Compliance: Proactively manage the HR Calendar and execute accordingly
- Onboarding - State Tax Registrations
- Offboarding - Termination Meeting, Cobra, Payouts
- Annual File Audit/Handbook + File Org
- Training Administration
- Benefits Administration:

Qualifications
- At least four years of operational HR experience within the below facets (Mixture of work and volunteer/pro-bono experience welcomed)
- Payroll Administration
- Federal & Multi-State HR Compliance
- Benefits Administration
- Degree & Certifications within a relevant field (e.g., Human Resources, Operations, Customer Service, Support, etc) are not required but are helpful.
- Emotional Intelligence-first work-ethic and approach
- Receives constructive criticism well and adapts promptly

This position will start as a 1099 Contract. An evaluation at the three month mark will determine longevity at the company.
