Job description

We are looking for a proactive, organized and empathic individual to join our team as a People and Culture Coordinator. This role is integral in supporting and ensuring a positive and supportive environment for all team members. The Coordinator will play a crucial role in maintaining and enhancing team support and engagement while supporting all HR functions for a global, remote environment with a people first approach.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide guidance and support to team members in an authentic, remote environment.
  • Conduct virtual weekly / monthly check ins with team members.
  • Contribute and support our positive, personalized and inclusive workplace culture.
  • Support social events and initiatives to include networking and researching new opportunities for charity and other events globally. 
  • Assist in the development and communication of company related policies.
  • Support onboarding and off boarding processes to ensure smooth transitions and a positive experience for all team members.
  • Assist in recruitment activities, including participating and conducting People and Culture interviews.
  • Manage team database, ensuring all information is accurate and up-to-date.
  • Provide departmental administrative support in all people and culture related functions.

Required Skills and Experience

  • 2-4 years of experience in an HR, employee relation, or coordinator role.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written with diplomacy at it's core.
  • Strong experience working with a global, diverse team with an understanding of cultural uniqueness and norms.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Proficient in both Google and Microsoft Office Suite and HR software applications.
  • Experience using a project management tool such as Asana.
  • Comfortable having video calls for 80% of the day and maintaining professionalism and team connections in a remote environment.
  • Demonstrated interest in creating an inclusive and engaging workplace with a people first approach.
  • Bachelor’s degree and / or experience in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field accepted.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in an HR / team support role within the tech industry.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate authentically across teams.
  • Experience working in a diverse, remote, global environment.
