Position: HRIS Analyst (Dayforce)

Position Type: Full time, Permanent

Location : Canada (Remote)

The Opportunity: Reporting to the Senior Manager, HRIS, the HRIS Analyst is responsible for ensuring data quality and creating reports and dashboards for internal clients. The incumbent resolves Dayforce system issues and provides guidance to system end users. The role is involved in improving the system through eliciting requirements, identifying trends, and assisting in the implementation of new solutions as required.

Responsibilities:

  • Collects and analyzes HR data, translating data into appropriate metrics and design of HR Dashboards
  • Responsible for delivering monthly reports and dashboards with key metrics and insights for senior leaders to support data-driven decision
  • Develop executive summaries highlighting key monthly metrics, trends, and insights to provide senior leaders with a clear overview of workforce data
  • Maintains data quality of HRIS, including proper data security, by performing regular data audits and resolving any data integrity issues.
  • Responds to queries and issues related to supported systems, analyzing the issue to identify the root cause. Once identified, provides solutions to solve the issue directly or works with appropriate SMEs/vendors for issue resolution.
  • Provides user support through documentation and creating supporting materials
  • Participates in defining system requirements and testing and deploying solutions, ensuring there is a match between solution and organizational system needs
  • Reviews and analyzes system functionality and provides recommendations for improvements, documenting any implemented changes
  • Remains up to date on product developments and participates in the testing and launch of new solutions

Qualifications:

  • Ideal candidates should possess 2 to 5 years of experience.
  • Post secondary education in HR, Information System, or related functions or relevant experience
  • Understanding of HR systems, their principles, method and practices and their application to advance efficiency of operations (Dayforce is a plus)
  • Experience in people analytics and creating dashboards for executives
  • Successful track record of addressing complex data issues with a systematic approach
  • Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to effectively guide or train users on system functionalities
  • Have a c ollaborative mindset and thrive in a team-oriented environment while also demonstrating initiative and independence.
  • Strong technical aptitude, advanced skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • A passion for analytics and a demonstrated ability to translate HR data and metrics into insights to support data-driven decisions
