What You’ll Do

The duties listed below are intended only as illustrations of the various types of work that may be performed in this position. They are not intended to prescribe or restrict the assignments that management may make.

  • Generate revenue according to Area Financial plan as a front-line consultant.
  • Participate in the strategic planning process for the organization. Using the strategic plan, develops a plan for the areas for short-term and long-term success through forecasting, budgeting, and staffing for the entire area with input from other business leaders.
  • Manage a dedicated area including performance in terms of quality, productivity, and revenue results. Provides feedback to leadership and employees regarding performance and makes adjustments to plans and staffing when necessary.
  • Work closely with area leadership and other leaders to ensure consistent processes are followed and communication is efficient.
  • Develop employees i n their area to meet compliance requirements, client expectations of quality of service and future succession planning for the organization through training, coaching, mentoring and performance feedback.
  • Network with others to develop business opportunities and potential future employees . Meets regularly with current clients to maintain and enhance relationships. Actively prospect for major client opportunities, propose significant projects and engage in business development activities.

What You’ll Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in Management, Architecture, Engineering or related field (strongly preferred).
  • 10 or more years of experience in the industry preferred.
  • Equivalent combination of education, training, and experience that would provide the required knowledge and abilities.
  • Previous supervisory experience of consultant-level employees.
  • Strong knowledge of the industry.
  • Strong leadership skills , including coaching and counseling, enabling others to act and developing a service and team focused culture amongst reports.
  • The ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and negotiation skills.
  • The ability to develop, plan and execute strategies.
  • The ability to work in a fast-paced, team environment juggling multiple projects and priorities.
  • The ability to work well with all levels of Project Managers, build partnerships, and direct teams.
  • The ability to travel regionally on a regular basis.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Acrobat and PowerPoint.
