We invite a Senior Node.js Engineer to join the VeliPlay product team.

Housed within the innovative umbrella of VeliTech, VeliPlay is our dedicated game development studio specialising in crafting exceptional crash games and more. We’re committed to delivering cutting-edge games that engage players with outstanding mechanics and envelop them in rich, immersive narratives.

Responsibilities: 

• Engine Development: Develop and maintain a high-performance and resilient game engine for games (crash games, plinko and other future games), ensuring scalability to meet growing demands
• System Observability: Work on enhancing the observability of our systems through effective monitoring and logging solutions to identify and address potential issues proactively
• Innovation: Collaborate with the team to brainstorm and invent unique and engaging game features that captivate players and set our games apart
• Integration: Seamlessly integrate our games with third-party iGaming engines, ensuring a smooth and cohesive player experience

Skills and experience you will need:

• At least 3+ years of work experience with Node.js (Nest.js)
• At least 3+ years of work experience with TypeScript
• Strong knowledge of AWS (ECS, Fargate, lambda, Serverless)
• Experience in working with: Docker, Gitlab CI
• Experience with relational database design (Postgresql)
• Experience with cache systems (Redis)
• Experience in system design
• Upper-Intermediate English level 

Will be a plus:

• Experience with ELK stack and Grafana
• Experience with Terraform
• Understanding of basic SRE practices
• Understanding of engineering excellence in general
• Ability to think out of the box, aspiration to invent and innovate
• Experience with iGaming projects
