Software Test Engineer - NodeJS, API Testing (AU Payment Platform, Home-based)

Salary: P100,000 – P150,000 (Monthly Package)

Schedule: Monday- Friday (09:00 AM - 06:00 PM AEST)

What are we looking for?

Skills Required:

• A solid Developer with experience in NodeJS and Javascript/Typescript
• Knowledge of E2E API Testing
• Strong understanding of SDLC, agile development, and defect tracking tools like JIRA
• Experience in software testing, test methodology, and test automation tools (e.g. Selenium, Appium, TestComplete)
• Experience with cloud-based testing environments (e.g. AWS, Azure, GCP)
• Familiarity with CI/CD using tools like GitHub Actions

Nice to Have:

• Strong problem solving and analytical skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Experience with testing enterprise-level software products and services preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

What will you do?

• Design test cases, perform manual and automated testing, and report and track software defects and fixes.
• Work closely with the development team to ensure high quality and timely delivery of software.
• Contribute to the development of automated testing frameworks and tools to improve testing efficiency and effectiveness.
• Help in the development of an Automated API testing framework and collaborate with Engineers to incorporate test cases into the automated testing suite.
