Description

Summary:

The Member Service Representative position strives to provide high quality customer service to IPC members, staff and vendors through phone, chat and email. In addition, Member Service Representatives assist Regional Account Director's by providing materials and information to aid them in building and sustaining compliant members and growing sales in the IPC warehouse.


Essential Functions:

  • Answer customer calls and reply to customer inquiries in a timely manner.
  • Maintain membership base via phone, fax and email to ensure member satisfaction and knowledge of all the programs offered at IPC.
  • Help Regional Directors and Account Managers by assisting with member calls and applications.
  • Process Customer Returns and verify product purchase.
  • Data entry of member orders.
  • Create credit memos and distribute to other departments.
  • Track UPS packages and work with UPS on any shipping issues.
  • Look up item prices and availability for members.
  • Set up Accounts on the web and help them with ordering or rebate inquiries.
  • Conduct outbound phone call projects to gather data from members or to provide information on recalls, GPO business or shipment delays.
  • Other administrative projects assigned by the Member Services Supervisor.
  • Process order holds during the day and end of night.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Hours are 3 nights per week Mon-Fri – 4-hour days from 4:00 pm – 8:00pm with option to work from home after an up to 90-day training period in office.

Requirements

Minimum Education:

  • High School Diploma

Preferred Requirements:

  • Prefer 1 or more years’ experience in customer service or call center.
  • Accurate data entry skills and knowledge of productivity software such as Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Prefer experience in the pharmaceutical industry.
  • Being fluent in more than one language is a plus but not required.


Salary Description
$20-21/hour plus additional $2/hour premium
