Description

OpenLoop is hiring a Channel Partnerships Manager to join our team remotely or at our HQ in Des Moines, IA. In this role, you will be responsible for managing and growing relationships with self-insured employers, brokers, and benefits consulting to expand our market reach and drive revenue growth. This individual will leverage their strong network and industry expertise to develop strategic partnerships, drive revenue growth, and expand our market presence in the employer benefits ecosystem.


The ideal candidate will have experience in channel management, strong communication skills, and a passion for telehealth and digital health innovation. This role is perfect for someone with a proven track record of building strategic partnerships and a deep understanding of the healthcare technology landscape.


About the Role

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Identify, recruit, and nurture relationships with brokers, benefits consultants, and self-insured employers.
  • Leverage existing networks to establish strong partnerships quickly, focusing on high-potential opportunities
  • Collaborate with partners to drive joint sales efforts, ensuring alignment with our go-to-market strategy.
  • Develop and implement business plans with partners to achieve revenue and growth targets.
  • Provide comprehensive training, resources, and support to partners, enabling them to effectively position and sell our solutions.
  • Act as the primary liaison for partner needs, ensuring seamless communication and issue resolution.
  • Stay informed about trends in self-funded insurance, benefits design, and healthcare cost management.
  • Use market insights to influence internal strategies and refine product offerings
  • Monitor partner performance against established KPIs, driving accountability and continuous improvement.
  • Conduct regular business reviews to ensure mutual success and explore growth opportunities.
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Healthcare Administration, Marketing, or a related field preferred.
  • 5+ years in channel management, business development, or sales, with a focus on self-insured employers, brokers, or benefits consulting.
  • In-depth understanding of the self-funded insurance market, benefits administration, and healthcare cost containment strategies.
  • Established relationships with brokers, TPAs, and large self-insured employers.
  • Demonstrated success in driving revenuethrough partnerships and achieving aggressive growth targets
  • Familiarity with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce, Zoho, Hubspot) and other sales and partner management tools.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Experience with healthcare analytics, telehealth, or related benefits solutions.
  • Familiarity with regulatory and compliance considerations in self-funded insurance
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with a self-starter mindset.
