As a Data Scientist within the Global Commercial & Product Analytics team, you will play a critical role in supporting regional, global, and local stakeholders. Your primary focus will be on leveraging quantitative data analytics to uncover insights and deliver to your target audiences to drive meaningful business outcomes. The Role & What You Will Be Doing

Every day, we rise to the challenge to make a difference and here’s how the Global Commercial Data Analyst - Data Projects role will make an impact:

  • Design and manage data management workstreams to process, integrate and curate datasets from across commercial data sources,

  • Leverage relevant tools and platforms to design models and processes to support deriving actionable insights,

  • Validate and curate data to ensure data quality, accuracy, and integrity,

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and develop data management and governance strategies,

  • Develop and maintain documentation of data provenance, management and consumption pipeline, including data mapping, data transformation, and data validation steps, to ensure repeatability and reproducibility of processes,

  • Stay up to date with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies related to data linkage, data management, and data analysis, and provide recommendations for continuous improvement.

About Your Skills & Experience

For this role, we’re looking for a candidate who has an effective combination of the following qualifications, skills and experiences:

  • Bachelor's or master’s degree in computer science, Statistics, Mathematics, Data Science, or a related field,

  • At least 2-3 years of experience in commercial data management, data analytics and data science,

  • Ideally experience in pharma industry and / or with pharma commercial data sets,

  • Prior experience in data integration, and data analysis, preferably in a pharmaceutical setting,

  • Strong technical skills, including prior experience in SQL (ideal), Python (preferred), and other data processing tools and languages,

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work with large and complex datasets,

  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment,

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate complex ideas to both technical and non-technical audiences with high proficiency in English.
