Job description

We are seeking an experienced Investment & Marketing Content Lead with 7-8 years of proven expertise in creating impactful content related to investment and personal finance. The ideal candidate is passionate about investing, thrives on audience engagement whether on webpage, email, social media or in-app, and excels in crafting compelling copy that motivates action. This role requires a self-starter who can independently develop content strategies to drive business growth and develop the career of a motivated and hungry financial writer reporting into the role.

Reporting into the VP Marketing, this is an exciting opportunity for someone who believes words are not just words but they drive companies forward!

Key Responsibilities:

  • Content Strategy Development:
    • Design and execute a comprehensive content plan that aligns with our business objectives.
    • Produce high-quality, informative, and engaging content across various platforms (blogs, social media, emails, ads).
  • Copywriting and Content Creation:
    • Craft persuasive copy for everything under the sun: from automated emails that convince a one time depositor to move to a systematic investment plan to Instagram reels that are compelling enough to share with friends.
    • Develop concepts for advertisements and marketing campaigns.
    • Ensure all content reflects our brand voice.
  • Collaboration and Leadership:
    • Work closely with cross-functional teams including marketing, design, and product development.
    • Oversee all content production workflows.
  • Analytics and Optimisation:
    • Monitor & communicate content performance using clear dashboards.
    • Adjust strategies based on data to improve engagement and conversion rates.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Marketing, Journalism, Communications, or a related field.
  • 7-8 years of experience in content creation preferably focused on investment and personal finance.
  • Exceptional writing and editing skills with a strong portfolio showcasing both long-form and short-form content.
  • Deep understanding of investment concepts, personal finance topics, and current market trends is a must.
  • Must have experience with developing content strategies for growth
  • Proficiency in social media platforms and content management systems.
  • Experience with SEO best practices and email optimisations.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and derive actionable insights.
  • Strategic thinking and Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
