Description:

SPS Commerce is hiring a Consultant I to support our clients in Implementation on our remote Microsoft Market Team! As a Consultant I, you will work on a team of professionals responsible for developing standardized solutions for customers. This role will facilitate problem research, isolation, diagnosis, resolution and follow-up for customer change events and managing escalated events when necessary.

 

This is a fully remote role, and can be based anywhere in the Philippines

The role will work US based time zones

What is the day to day like?

  • Execute installation, upgrades, testing, and system configuration as part of completing implementation project
  • Perform post-sale initial technical implementation of technology products
  • May consult with clients to analyze and verify operational needs, and to understand clients' business objectives and goals
  • Inform customer and other stakeholders of project progress
  • Conduct tasks and assignments as directed. Work under moderate supervision with some latitude for independent judgment
  • Track progress of Implementation project(s). Ensure deadlines are met and scheduling issues resolved

 

What is required?

  • Bachelor's Degree + 3-5 years of related experience
  • Strong analytical, problem solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects concurrently.
  • Ability to apply, test, and re-configure data rules in order to produce desired results

 

What is preferred?

  • Experience with ERP systems such as Microsoft D365FO, D365BC, AX, NAV or Macola ERPs are strongly preferred
  • Knowledge of EDI standards and EDI integration such as ANSI and EDIFACT is important; as well as familiarity with the order to cash/procure to pay process
  • 3-5 years of professional business experience, industry experience in retail or supply chain is desirable
  • A balanced mix of skills: driver and facilitator, tactical leader and doer
  • Familiarity with XML or SQL a plus
  • Experience with text editing and data mapping tools
