Job description

The Properties Leasing and Renewals VA is responsible for managing key leasing tasks, including creating property listings, processing tenant applications and preparing lease agreements. They handle renewals by preparing and tracking forms, ensuring timely submissions and returns of documents

Experience in property management is essential. The VA must demonstrate strong attention to detail, effective communication and excellent time management.

KEY TASK RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Communication Skills
    • Excellent verbal and written communication for coordinating with tenants, applicants and property owners (clarify limits of communications with owners) ensuring all required documents and information are collected efficiently
  • Attention to Detail
    • Ability to review lease agreements, application documents and renewals accurately, ensuring compliance with legal requirements and company standards


  • Time Management
    • Capability to handle multiple tasks such as renewals, application follow ups and property listings within deadlines


  • Tracking & Follow-up
    • Skill in tracking renewal forms, ensuring timely submission, and following up with tenants or owners


  • Document Management & Tracking
    • Ability to organize and track tenant applications, renewals, and lease agreements
    • Experience coordinating document submissions with tenants or owners


PROFESSIONAL SKILLS, EXPERTISE and ATTRIBUTES:

  • Minimum of 2 years experience in Property Management

  • Proven experience in managing property leasing, renewals, and tenant application processes, particularly in a virtual or remote support capacity
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.

  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
