Job Description:
This Director-level role leads our Professional Security Services (PSS) practice. The Director is responsible for leading and managing a team of professionals to provide market-leading consulting for all aspects of IT Security, with a focus on Azure and M365 security.
The Azure Security Practice Director provides strategic planning, team development, client engagement, and ensures delivery of high-quality consulting services. You will work closely with senior management to align practice goals with the overall business objectives. You will be at the forefront in establishing IT Security best practices and frameworks for our consultants in all practices, as well as for your clients.
What You'll Do:Strategic Planning: Develop and implement strategic plans for the practice, ensuring alignment with Atmosera’s goals and objectives.Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and develop a team of professionals, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture while overseeing training, retention, hiring and ensuring a high standard of project delivery and quality to our customersResource Alignment: Serve as the expert of your team’s capacity and skills to properly align them to engagements while managing demand and supply needs, adroitlyCultivate Excellence: Foster a culture of high performance and excellence. Engage and motivate employees, facilitating collaboration and knowledge sharing across practicesThought Leadership: Demonstrate competency to the team through internal and external thought leadership. This may include authoring SME focused collateral (Whitepapers) blogging, speaking at conferences, etcSales Support: Educate and support the Atmosera sales team in driving revenue by supporting strategic sales opportunitiesClient Relationships: Develop relationships with key client stakeholders, service as a trusted advisor to the during their azure transformationSolution Development & Best Practices: Lead packaging of solution offerings across practices and enable sales teamsProduct Development: Lead ideation and development of internal and external IP in support of business initiatives. Develop IP Solutions that drive cross practice and cross business line opportunitiesRequired Experience: 8+ years of experience in IT Security design and development, and/or system integration/development. 5+ years in a technology architecture and management role3+ years involvement in technology pre-sales including large, complex estimatingUnderstanding of cloud ecosystem and leading-edge IT Security emerging technologiesBroad understanding of security trends and depth of experience with Microsoft’s Security Governance, Cloud Security, Data Security, Device Security and Identity Governance platforms.Broad experience with security frameworks such as ISO, NIST, CIS, PCI DSS, HITRUST, etc.Impeccable presentation, written and verbal communication skillsPassion for client experience and for professional services as a vehicle to help clients achieve their goals.Entrepreneurial spirit, and desire to look for opportunities to continually improve.Ability to operate effectively as part of a matrixed team and drive results from members of the organization who may not be part of a direct reporting relationship.Ability to provide constructive feedback and manage conflict of all types.Security industry certifications. This is a full-time position in the United States with the ability to work from home, or from one of our many US offices if local.
