Ascent is looking for a Product Marketing Specialist with a proven track record in managing and executing diverse marketing strategies and materials across multiple business lines. This role requires strong project management skills, the ability to manage multiple stakeholders, and experience in both marketing and sales environments. 

Qualities we’re looking for: 

  • Passionate about developing and executing marketing strategies across a wide range of materials. 

  • Expertise in developing conference marketing materials and managing inventory to align with brand standards. 

  • Ability to balance multiple priorities and collaborate effectively with internal stakeholders such as sales, marketing, design, UX and across multiple business lines. 

  • Strong organizational skills and experience managing the strategy and execution of sales enablement materials. 

  • A proactive approach to competitor analysis and market research, ensuring marketing strategies remain relevant and effective. 

  • A collaborative mindset, always looking for ways to improve processes and outcomes for all stakeholders. 

In this role you will: 

  • Lead the strategy and execution of product marketing materials, ensuring consistency in brand messaging and alignment with overall marketing objectives. 

  • Manage and execute conference materials, ensuring that marketing resources for events are up-to-date, align with brand standards, and are distributed appropriately. 

  • Develop, update, and manage sales enablement materials to support the sales teams in achieving their targets, ensuring alignment with Ascent’s goals and objectives. 

  • Conduct and manage competitor analysis, translating findings into actionable strategies to improve Ascent’s marketing efforts. 

  • Oversee the management of marketing assets, ensuring materials are readily accessible and up-to-date for internal stakeholders. 

  • Coordinate speaker submissions for conferences and events, ensuring alignment with Ascent’s brand and messaging. 

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, such as product development, sales, and HR, to ensure alignment across marketing initiatives and deliverables. 

  • Develop product messaging that differentiates Ascent’s offerings in the market and resonates with target audiences. 

  • Plan and execute product launches, ensuring successful collaboration with internal teams to deliver compelling and timely marketing campaigns. 

You could be a fit if you have: 

  • 3-5 years of marketing experience, with experience managing multiple stakeholders and balancing priorities. 

  • Agency experience or experience handling multiple priorities across different stakeholders. 

  • 1 year of experience in sales (e.g., attending conferences, handling sales meetings, and knowing what is needed to get deals done). 

  • Strong writing, project management, and creative skills to successfully execute marketing projects. 

  • Excellent organizational and project management skills, with experience coordinating marketing campaigns across departments. 

  • Experience with product marketing and event marketing is a plus.
