Position Title: Technical Business Analyst
Work Set-up: Work from Home
Salary: Php 55,000.00 to Php 70,000.00
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 6:00 AM – 3:00 PM PH Time

JOB DESCRIPTION FOR A TECHNICAL BUSINESS ANALYST

Responsibilities as a Technical Business Analyst:

• Work with product teams to capture, analyse, and document business requirements, translating them into structured user stories.
• Segment large-scale product requirements into manageable vertical slices to enable focused, incremental development.
• Act as the main point of contact for product and IT teams, resolving queries related to project requirements and assisting in the prioritisation of tasks.
• Maintain and periodically update internal data on competitor offerings.
• Track significant market changes associated with this data and inform relevant stakeholders.
• Assist with various project support activities, including action item tracking, email communications, and general project coordination to facilitate efficient implementation of product initiatives.
• Ensure comprehensive documentation, including requirements and technical specifications, to support project clarity and alignment.
• Develop a strong understanding of the IT infrastructure to provide technical insights and recommendations.
• Work alongside IT and product teams to support the technical integration of new features, ensuring alignment between business requirements and technical execution.
• Participate in the development and refinement of PMO templates and workflows, contributing to the maturity of project management practices.
• Conduct gap analysis to identify differences between current processes and desired future states.
• Create user manuals and other training materials to support system usage and best practices.

Qualifications as a Technical Business Analyst:

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years as a Technical Business Analyst, preferably in the forex or financial services industry.
• Strong technical aptitude with the ability to navigate and understand complex systems, integrations, and data flows.
• Familiarity with API integrations, SSO configurations, and system architecture.
• Proficiency in creating and managing user stories, with a familiarity with agile project management principles and tools (e.g., Agile, Scrum, JIRA, Confluence).
• High attention to detail, with excellent verbal and written communication skills, and excellent written and spoken English.
• Ability to maintain competitor data and report on noteworthy trends to aid in strategic decision-making.
• Ability to organise and prioritise tasks efficiently.
• Background in managing or interpreting competitor data within the financial sector, especially related to client experience and pricing.
• Proficiency in data analysis tools and software (e.g. Excel, SQL, BI tools).
• Proactive and solution-oriented mindset.
• Ability to adapt to changing business needs and environments.
