Job description

The Company

HubSpot is a leading customer relationship management (CRM) platform for scaling companies. Over one hundred thousand customers all over the world use our marketing, sales, and customer success software to grow their businesses. It's our mission to not just help them grow, but to help them grow better.

At HubSpot, we believe that our values live in our hearts, not our hallways. We want to build a company where people feel empowered to do their best work, wherever they are. Our ANZ office is located in Sydney’s CBD, however, this role is open to remote workers based anywhere in Australia.

The Mission

HubSpot is searching for a visionary leader to join the Small Business sales organisation in Australia. This is an exciting opportunity for a results-driven sales leader to join a high-growth company and help build a multi-product business as we continue to evolve into a unified front office platform company.

In this role, you will implement HubSpot’s world-class sales methodology within your team and coach and develop your sales managers to help ensure their teams achieve their monthly revenue and growth goals.

In addition, you will work closely with the ANZ executive management team, marketing team, sales training team and recruiting team on helping drive regional and global company initiatives and deliver overall business success.

The Role

  • Drive growth through identifying the right customers and overall grow the customer base. Be accountable for business growth and achieving overall metrics (revenue, retention, budget, customer and employee satisfaction etc.).
  • Build close relationships with customers, working on growth obstacles and offering up solutions that help.
  • Work collaboratively with other sales leaders and cross-functionally with other leaders to ensure alignment across businesses.
  • Attract and grow the best sales talent across Australia through effective recruiting, selecting and training methods.
  • Collaborate with our Partners to identify growth opportunities in each of their local markets, enabling them to scale and grow their businesses, and ensuring our culture amongst our Partners is maintained.
  • Inspire, lead and drive your team to meet or exceed all sales and bookings goals, and other expectations established by executive leadership.
  • Demonstrate HubSpot’s core values and foster an inclusive team culture.
  • Advocate for and promote diversity and inclusion in all you do. Create an inclusive and psychologically safe environment that embraces diversity.

The Person

  • Has 5+ years’ experience leading sales and growth for small businesses (5-200 FTEs). SaaS industry experience strongly preferred.
  • Extensive experience influencing internally (at all levels of the organisation including the executive leadership team) and externally (customers and partners).
  • Successful track record of managing frontline sales managers and the associated indirect reports (~40).
  • Deep expertise in the Australia & New Zealand market and possesses rich knowledge of the market.
  • Has strong coaching and people management skills - ability to motivate, guide, grow and lead a team towards successful outcomes while maintaining high employee morale.
  • Anticipates and interprets market changes and envisions the future.
  • Drives execution and builds the necessary capability to succeed.
  • Experiments, collaborates, and drives innovation across the company.
