Your key responsibilities:
Your responsibilities include, but not limited to:
- Performing assigned tasks in the field of occupational health and safety in accordance with applicable legislation.
- Actively and proactively striving to improve practices in occupational health and safety.
- Ensuring the establishment of plans for risk assessment and reduction. Preparing assessments and reports for stakeholders on risks/findings/opportunities for improvement in the areas of health, safety, and environment, based on which immediate actions or temporary solutions can be taken to manage risks. Monitoring the implementation of corrective and preventive measures and preparing or participating in the preparation of appropriate measures.
- Ensuring preparedness to respond to security incidents and emergencies within your area of responsibility.
- Developing, improving, revising, and implementing programs and training plans for employees involved in your areas of operation. Ensuring effective preparation and implementation of programs, plans, and objectives in the field of occupational health and safety within your area of responsibility, in accordance with legal and Sandoz requirements.
- Coordinating and participating in Sandoz compliance audits, assessments, campaigns, and/or regulatory compliance reviews, as well as inspections by local authorities.
- Participating in cross-functional teams, committees, and occupational health and safety working groups at the local and global levels.
- Developing networks and connecting with other locations, functions, and/or groups of global experts to exchange acquired experience, best practices, and other useful information throughout the company.
What you will bring to the role:
- A higher education degree in the field of occupational health and safety, environmental protection, technical, or other natural sciences.
- Minimum of 5 years of work experience in health, safety, and environment.
- Professional certification in occupational health and safety.
- Desirable to have Professional certification for fire safety or other professional cerftificat like (Chemicals consultant, internal auditor on ISO 9001 in ISO14001, Coordinators for safety and health at work on temporary and movable construction sites).
- Advanced level of proficiency in the English language.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools.
